Inspect currently has one option: Inspect, which works in conjunction with eService.
Using the Inspect Feature
The Inspect feature provides the user the ability to add work orders and tasks to a Property/Building/Unit. One work order can have multiple tasks associated with it. Work orders can only be added to units and not to eService Locations, as the Inspect feature was designed to help the worker in the field enter or edit a work order quickly, especially when doing a walk-through with a resident who is moving out.
Once in Inspect, the first page shows properties that the user has access to. Once the user selects a property, building, and then the unit, the next page lists existing work orders for that unit. The user can add a new work order, view and add images to existing work orders, upload up to five images at a time to any work order, or edit work orders that were originally added using Inspect. Users can only edit work orders that they added via the mobile application. Currently, work orders added via eService cannot be viewed or edited.
Images added from within Inspect are available to be viewed within eService under the Documents link for the work order they were added to.
NOTE: The Portable Network Graphics format (.png) file format must be added as one of the valid document types for eService (eService—Setup—Document Types).
